Umbrella
umbrella music (2007, 1:25 min)

Let me start by saying I did not plan on posting either of these until last night when Steph asked me to. Well, the first one she asked for- the second was just a bit of fun dorking with a line captured from the wonderful Les Parapluies de Cherbourg which has a young and more beautiful than ever Catherine Deneuve. Backtracking to the first video for a better explanation- I shot some footage of a strobe light type thing with Steph’s photo camera’s video setting while at a bar jamming to dudes in tie dye shirts rocking white mustaches and some oh so swinging saxophone melodys. The music in both of these is by my for a change (which should explain why I was hesitant to post them).

Emergency Contact

New mixture. My favorite thus far, by far.

On the 8th Day

On the 8th Day
on the 8th day (2007, 1:39 min)

I kinda fell off the deep end after my 9th or 10th “daily”…once the ball stopped rolling I couldn’t seem to budge it. That is until I digital video’d the KnowOne concert up at Mickey Finn’s yesterday.

I began to realize that forcing myself to make a new video every day wasn’t actually productive at all but rather a tiring and depressing way to excist. After a big breath of fresh air I’m feelin alright and have thrown together this little video. I got roughly 25 minutes of footage from the concert and plan to make more videos with it. This is the first stab- I’m pleased with it. Although fairly strange, I think it’s appropriate.

Much thanks to Nick, Adrian, Jordan and James for rockin it.

I really didn’t even want to make an experimental video today but with all this rain and a wandering mind I really couldn’t avoid it.

The golden apples of the sun.”
